For almost all of us, our hair is either going to fall out or turn gray. And while we can dye our hair pretty easily when it changes colors, figuring out how to replace hair on our noggins is quite a challenge.
Well, it might be time for a new plan of action. Scientists in Japan recently announced that a chemical in the oil that McDonald’s restaurants use to deep fry their delicious french fries can help regrow hair.
The scientists at Yokohama National University discovered that a chemical called dimethylpolysiloxane helps hair grow. And they also found out that the world’s most famous burger chain uses it to make their french fries. Who knew?
Dimethylpolysiloxane isn’t going to magically help hair grow back overnight, but it will give people a solid foundation to boost overall hair growth. People on Twitter are very excited about the development.
I have a feeling we’ll be seeing a whole lot of bald fellas at Mickey D’s in the foreseeable future.
