#5. A kingdom far, far, away.

Far, far, away lived a king who didn’t allow anyone in or out of his kingdom. There was a single bridge that connected them to the outside world, and royal orders stated that anyone moving outside should be killed, and anyone coming in should be turned back.

There’s a single guard on the bridge and he’s allowed to take rest breaks inside a hut of no more than 5 minutes. It takes 8 minutes to cross the bridge.

Even so, one woman manages to escape the kingdom. How?

The woman walked five minutes away from the kingdom while the guard was on break, then turned and walked back toward him. He demanded to see her papers but she didn’t have any on her, so she was sent away.

#3. A mysterious death.

A detective finds a dead woman lying on the pavement beneath a high-rise apartment building, and it appears she committed suicide by jumping from one of the windows. He does to the first floor, opens the closed window, and flips a coin toward the floor.

Then, he goes to the next floor and repeats all of the actions, then the next, until he reaches the last floor.

When he returns to the ground, he has concluded the woman was murdered. How?

A newlywed couple went on their honeymoon, but the husband returned alone and grieving. He said that his wife died in an accident, but the police arrested him because their travel agent could prove he had killed his wife.
